About

A careful, personal approach

Dr. Carolyn B. Hoffman is a psychologist who has spent more than two decades in clinical and assessment work. Her experience spans outpatient, school, court, forensic, and senior memory-care settings, with adolescents and adults, including older adults. Her current focus is the evaluation of memory loss and other neurocognitive concerns.

Her approach draws on cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic training. She gives each evaluation unhurried attention, listening closely to patients and the people who care for them, and she explains her findings clearly so that families and referring providers can plan the next steps with confidence.
